What You Can Do to Protect against Alzheimer’s Today

Antioxidant PowerThis thread on Promising Research into Alzheimer’s Disease started Friday.

Short of spending two hours a day on the cell phone with your grandkids while eating enough blueberries to make you look like Violet Beauregard from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”, what can you do to take advantage of these research findings?

Make sure your diet is chock full of the health-boosting antioxidants found in colorful fruits and vegetables.

It’s a good idea to supplement your food intake of antioxidants with antioxidant supplements. Read about research indicating that Resveratrol supplements may delay or mitigate the onset of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

If you decide to give Resveratrol a try, be sure to buy from a reputable company and avoid auto-ship scams. You’ll find dosages suggested by the research studies here.

I know that you already know you should constantly challenge your brain by learning new things. How do I know that? Because you’re reading this blog. Keep up the good work!
