Man Gossip: New ‘Grease’ contest from Eva Longoria & Tony Parker

The Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and her husband Tony Parker have launched a new Grease contest. Both of them are inviting fans to recreate scenes from the 1978 musical for a new online competition - and they’ve made the contest’s very first entry with their own take on the classic Grease track, Summer Nights.



Longoria Parker donned a blonde wig and a bright yellow dress to play Newton-John’s Sandy in the cute spoof, while her husband showed off his dance moves as Travolta’s bad boy Danny Zuko.

In a clip on his official website, the San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker explains they chose Grease because “it’s Eva’s favorite film,” before challenging fans to submit their own parodies of the cult movie. After the deadline for the video entries closes on 31st January, then the couple will select their favorite videos and fly the winners out to one of Parker’s basketball games in Texas, where they’ll meet them, in person.

Movie Review: Bruno

Nothing much special lately, just managed to catch up with friends at Starbuck as well as catching up with few movies lately.


If your memory served you well, I am sure you still remember this show called Bruno. Yes!! I thought bought myself some laugh and ended up with this show. So thought of sharing some review with some of you here.

I would consider this as pervasive strong and crude sexual content, graphic nudity and language.

Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Alice Evans, Trishelle Cannatella, Sandra Seeling, and Ben Youcef


Story line is talking about this guy, Bruno, after being ousted from the fashion community during a hi-profile mishap on a Milan runway, the uber-famous fashion correspondent, Bruno, heads to the U.S. to try and straighten himself out.

So if you think of getting yourself a laugh, this is not a bad choice after all.

Man Fashion: How often Man Shop?

How often you do your shopping? Once a week, once a fortnight, once a month or once in every quarter? Why I asked this question is because according to some research, most men don’t like to go shopping.

Rather, we go buying. Men analyze the situation, determine the objective, plot a strategy, implement the tactics and score. In short, men handle “shopping” the way a military Black Ops team handles a situation. Get in, Obtain Objective, Gone (GOOG).

So is this apply to you? and what kind of items that you prefer shop and what kind of items that you will buy. In fact, this do apply to me sometimes, especially with pressure with time! Nevertheless, I do enjoy shopping, and make it a habit to shop at least once a month. :)

Man Fashion: Fat and Thin Women

I just picked this up in one of the comment from style.com, it read like this "Men couldn't care less: we just want them young and thin. We'd rather have sex with an unemployed brain-dead model than a brilliant, wealthy woman who happens to be fat". The reason I picked this up was because the comment really puzzle me for a while. I think most of the man do prefer young and thin women (correct me if I am wrong), but on the other hand, we do look into women's internal beauty as well. Otherwise, there would be so many people married with fat women! :D

Edison Chen's Sex Scandals Return

The drama continues as more new sex photos were released on the web. These photos showed explicit oral sex between purported Hong Kong celebrities Edison Chen, Gillian Chung, Bobo Chan, Cecilia Cheung, and also Yu Chiu now. Many photos also included women who were not known public figures involved in sexual acts with Edison.


The catch-me-if-you-can poster released these photos yesterday, it is estimated that in his naughty little pink laptop were an estimated 1,300 photos, many of them allegedly depicting Chen in various stages of in flagrante delicto with at least 11 female celebrities.According to media reports, Edison Chen took his pink Apple Powerbook laptop into a Central district computer shop called eLite Media to be repaired in June 2007, and inadvertently set off a firestorm that has rippled across the city into China and well beyond.

Edison Chen's Sex Scandals

Celeb sex scandals are nothing new in the West, but a series of obscene photographs seemingly featuring local stars has sent shockwaves through the Hong Kong entertainment business.

Pictures that appear to capture singer-actor Edison Chen and pop singer Gillian Chung engaged in sexual intercourse hit a popular online news discussion forum Jan. 27. They were followed a day later by pics that purport to be Chen and TV actress Bobo Chan and other pics showing film star Cecilia Cheung at Chen's apartment.


While the stars' reps insist the pics are doctored, authorities and experts were working to check their authenticity.

While police say they are investigating two reported cases of publishing indecent materials on the Internet, the Hong Kong Performing Artists Guild called for government action to curb indecent and obscene material in the media.

The guild deemed the incident not only "tragic for the entertainment industry, but for all Hong Kong people. Such immoral behavior is poison to the minds of youth today."

The pics have also raised questions about what some commentators deemed excessive behavior by the region's stars. Postings of the Chen photos were accompanied by a list of his other alleged conquests, and Hong Kong has in recent years witnessed two separate "wardrobe malfunctions" by actress Yumiko Cheng.

The pics even raced across the Internet into China, despite a recent SARFT crackdown on online obscenity. A file purportedly containing all the photos was reportedly being downloaded 10,000 times a minute.

Boxing Day Sale

So right after Christmas, here come the Boxing Day, so did you manage to get something on this Boxing day? In most of the Commonwealth countries, (except some of the Commonwealth countries in Asia). Boxing Day sales are just as much part of the festive season as candy canes. On December 26, shoppers line up outside stores, waiting in anticipation for the doors to open and for the 50%, 60% and 70% sales or even 80% sales to begin. The term originates in Victorian England, when the rich would box up gifts on the day after Christmas and bring them to the poor. In recent times, it has just come to mean Sale, Sale, Sale!

This year, Boxing Day came early -- at least in New York City. Sales started everywhere on the street: Gucci, Guess, D&G, Marc Jacobs, Barney's, etc. Even online retailers have been going on sale earlier than ever before.

So, does this must mean that retailers are desperate because US retail market is in the doldrums? Maybe, is too early to tell, but one thing for sure, you don't want to miss this crazy sale on this Boxing Day.
