Dealing polish

A month ago, I fell in love. For so many years, all throughout my pre-teens and teens, french blue which is also called royal blue, was my favorite color. A nailpolish that color and my favorite finish, jelly, add to that was just to good to be true.
The sweet kitten, sorry, fierce feline, that is Alizarine claws, she bought it for me and just in time for Christmas, I got that and 3 other beauties.
I have yet to try the majority of them out, but I applied Sinful Colors' San fransisco on my nails a few days ago and it's holding up too darn good to be removed. I never was a green type of girl, but I think it is starting to grow on me (no pun). It is something about the Sinful colors' bottles that makes the polish look perfect. Almost better than they do on the nail. This particular polish looks a lot darker in the bottle than on the nail, it's rather sheer, and reminds me a lot of that warm -toned pinetree-colored paint a lot of classic (muscle)cars have.

The other green in the photo above, Edie from Color club is more turquoise than green, but has actually been a lemming of mine. Number three in the tree is Color club's Youthquake.

Now my next concern is; what do you send the polish-girl that has it all and then some? Get her addicted to lipgloss?

NOTD: Color Club "Snowflakes"

So I finally got to put on this lovely sparkler! :) It's from the Color Club xmas collection "Enchanted Holiday". This is 2 coats with Megashine top coat. You will need two coats of thick top coat, it is a bumpy glitter!

This is hard to photograph - it's hard to get the holographic glitter to twinkle when in focus, but in real life and out of focus it sparkles like diamonds on your nails! It's not an opaque glitter but that is probably what makes it so shimmery.

I am now about to watch some nature programmes on telly while cuddling my wee kitten, he's very affectionate today (could be that his Mummy fed him some freshly roasted chicken!).

NOTD: Color Club "Magic Elf"

Yep, I was swayed by it's green beauty (no surprises there..) and I decided to put it on instead of "Snowflakes" for my 3-day weekend which has jus started! This is 3 thin layers with China Glaze FastForward top coat. Awesome! :D

I am just popping in to show you this beauty, I have a long day of Christmas shopping before me tomorrow so I won't linger.

NOTD: Color Club "Wish List Red"

So the lovely Xmas set from Color Club finally arrived so here is the gem that is "Wish List Red"! My camera doesn't like this colour, it's not capturing the sparkliness of the glitter.

This is two perfect coats (almost no cleanup needed!) with a coat of China Glaze FastForward top coat. This dries gritty like a glitter polish, I am going to put another thick coat of top coat on tomorrow as it's still gritty.

I can't wait to put on the other polishes in this collection for you, hopefully with some of the decals that come with it :)

I'm off to watch the dire movie that is XxX 2...

NOTD: Color Club "Power Play"

I've done this one before - and it was just as hard to photograph then as it is now. It is not pink in the slightest, just bright purple. Unfortunately this time I couldn't get any decent light at all hence the weird colour. Follow the link to a more accurate picture. I can't wait to move back to my own house... This is two coats with Sally Hansen MegaShine on top. You can see my huge peel on my index finger still... :( I hope it fixes itself soon, I'm sick of crap nails.

I love this nail polish, its defintely my favourite purple and perhaps my favourite neon polish. It stands out even in fairly dim light but is insanely intense in sun light; just what I need right now!

Also, I got a new bike on Friday so I've spent most of the weekend riding it! Its a Women Specific Design Trek Skye S. Yay! :D

NOTD: Color Club "Power Play"

I love this colour, unfortunately my camera cannot capture the depth of this nail polish. It is a royal purple neon. This is 2 coats over Sally Hansen Miracle Cure. I used Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat for this manicure. I loved it years ago when it was first launched but I somehow forgot about my old friend when I got hold of Seche Vite and Poshe. But our friendship has been restored, all is forgiven! :) Supershiney and dries quickly too, and if you shop around, you can get Mega Shine for less than half the price of Seche Vite.

I am on a neon high at the moment, I can't get enough of these ultra-bright colours :) I am soooo ready for summer!!
