I'm supposed to share 10 facts about me, so here goes..

1. I have "beauty gene" in my body! I just knew it recently! ^^

So, I have been wondering why I love beauty product so much, love to do makeup thing, and so keen about skincare, (you know the drill..hehe..) And it turns out that my Grandma used to own and run a beauty salon! Ha! No wonder.. hehe..

My mom told me this fact just recently, actually when I had my routine aspirin mask (gotta share that later..), and I was like.. "Ahh.. So that's why.."

Like Grandma, Like Mother, Like Daughter.. hahaha.. ^^

2. I hate coffee..

There, I told you guys.. I just don't like it..

When I was little, I sipped on my dad's cup of coffee, and because my dad only drinks the Medan (North Sumatra) Coffee (extremely bitter! >_<) I was so shocked and traumatized, hahaha.. And since that moment, I don't want to drink coffe again, ever..

When I go to Starbucks, I only buy the hot chocolate and the pastries, which is so yummy! hehe..

3. I'm a family-girl..

If you noticed this, I'm a really family person.. ^^

We're so tight, my mom, my bro and me.. You can see that from my many blog posts, hehe.. =)

4. I really want to go to Paris and study makeup there!

I have a HUGE Crush on Paris, and I have this dream since.. Forever! hehe.. Wish me luck! ^^

5, I'm Soo.. Not Organized..

I'm a spontaneous person, I don't really plan on my life, just let it flow. And I don't keep an agenda. Completely the opposite from my mom, hehe..

6. I'm a shy person.. Really!

Gosh.. I'm so embarrassed when I have to spill this out..hehe.. I was so shy when I prompted to a new environment and a new person. But it all changed when I started to grow up and mature.. I learn to be more brave and confident. YAY to that! haha.. ^^

7. Love music to the core

I really love music! I have maybe more than 500 CDs and MP3s in my house.. Many types of music in any languages.. I must bring my iPod with me everyday, otherwise I'll feel like a half of my soul is missing, hehe..

8. I love to eat!

I love sushi and all of the Asian cuisine..hehe.. But my fave drink is Fresh Coconut Water! ^^

9. I don't exercise or go to the gym

Never liked it anyway, hahaha... I keep my body fit by doing chores and many activities, but not sports or exercise.. Too lazy for that, hehehe..

10. I'm a mix of Indonesia-Philipines-Chinese

That's where I got this look.. Unique oriental face, my friends always say, hehe..

But I'm grateful of who I am, and how I look, because we are all special, right?? Cheers to that! Ganbei! ^^

In case you're wondering, hehe... this is my mom! ^^ Her pose is so funny, right?? ^^ This photo was taken in one of Jakarta's mall (I forgot the name, coz so many malls we've been through..), we were shopping around, and when we got to the food court, I came up with the idea to take some fun pictures! ^^ So, she pretended to make scary faces, but because we're laughing at that time, this photo is the result, hahaha..

My mom is cool or what?? ^^ People so often mistaken my mom as my older sister because she looks so young (and she's also young at heart!^^ ), until now..really.. ^^ We really have fun together, I love my mom! =)

Tagged: 6 Things That Make Me Happy.. ^^

Wow! I've been tagged! Yay! ^^

And this time, it's about what are the 6 things that can make happy:

Well, I know exactly what they are:

1. My family

These are my dad, my bro, and my mom..

Yes, we argue.. and lots of quarrel.. But we still love each other, we have the best times in our life, and we'll always do.. ^^

2. The Beach

I've always love the beach.. and I have a wish someday to have my honeymoon on a beach.. (Dreaming is OK, right?? ^^)

3. Fragrances..

I love fragrances! My fave are cherry blossom (sakura), lavender, and vanilla musk..

It's a must-have in my bag.. ^^

4. Books!

Books and more books..

You know.. my eyes would go wild whenever I enter a bookstore.. I loveee to read (as much as I love to write..) I could spend hours in a bookstore.. and it's not just for magazines, but for "real"

books, like literature, psychology, romance novels.. non-fiction books.. I love them all! My curent wishlist for books right now is the Mireille Guiliano's book = French Women for All Seasons.. I have her 1st book, French Women Don't Get Fat The Secret of Eating for Pleasure and I love it! It's really an inspiration.. ^^

I know.. I love everything French..hehe..

5. Skincare..Beauty Product.. (you know the drill)

It's a passion, actually.. (that's why my blog's url is passionfor-beauty! duh.. ^^)

Whenever I'm near skincare and beauty product, I'm happy.. Or when I see it, I'm happy..

Obvious, right??

6. Praying

You know, I don't intend to make myself looks like a very religious person, I'm still a normal human being, I have flaws and minuses.. But, I have to admit, I love to pray, read the bible and I enjoy going to church.. I feel happy and contented when I pray..And I'm not ashamed of it.. ^^

If you have a beautiful heart, it will be seen through from the outside, right??

I've been tagged

I guess there are still some un-answered questions about me so have been challenged to reveal certain idio(t)syncracies, in other words I've been tagged by Dianne . Since I am not quite equipped yet to write my autobiography (no there are no Playboy centerfold photos) and since I do have my own-kind-of-stories, here are a few candid confessions:

• If I were to be born again, I would like to be an Orchestra Conductor.


• I'm a little afraid of people. I think it is because some can be so cruel and selfish. I protect myself by having few but true friends.


• When I was a little girl I wanted to have 9 children, 4 boys and 5 girls. I even did a family tree in my diary with all the names. Not one of my children have those names and I never could have handled more than three which is what I had.


• Deadly Sin: I smoke like a chimney


• Turn On: Passion


• Turn Off: People who try to pretend who and what they're NOT. If they only knew the truth is written all over their faces.


• I had a forbidden love once. The experience marked my life forever.


• I tend to be a loner, spending a lot of time with me,myself and I because I have infinite interests and can't stand wasting time on bla bla bla; I prefer to act.


• I kind of live in slow motion. All the energy is on the inside. People say I instill peace and serenity when I am around them which surprises me becasue on the inside I always feel like a volcano ready to errupt.


• I have bunions, Aghh....


• I have a crazy streak...I tap dance on railway station platforms, wear fresh flowers in my hair in Spring, go to the post office with my hands full of paint so everyone will see, take up impossible causes, protect the underdog and still send telegrams to people I love.


• If I were immensely rich, I would drop everything to go and help those in need in third world countries. I secretly envy philanthopists although I do my share in small ways whenever I can.


• Outsider, non-conformist and anti-establishment to the bone for all the right reasons, I hope.


• Always live on the edge, literally.


• If I go to heaven I would like to befriend Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II) above all the people I have known, read or heard about.
