Christmas Eye Candy

We're making new traditions this year. With all our family thousands of miles away and our dearest friends having recently moved as well, we decided to travel for Christmas week. I know holiday travel is a tradition for many; but for us, it's a new twist.

Rather than bemoan being alone for the holidays, we're looking for new experiences to cherish. Over the next few days, I'll share photos from our trip. I'm not much of a photographer but with these terrific new digital cameras, I can take a gazillion shots and maybe share three or four with you. LOL.

One benefit of this new tradition is we get to enjoy the beautiful decorations put up by other people. The staff at our hotel in San Diego has done a marvelous job. These photos show just one of their Christmas trees.
