Support and Defend Your Skin as it Ages

I am totally new to antiaging skincare. I turned 40 this year and started researching skin products.

Wow, there are way too many products out there and I’m not sure who or what to believe.

I need something for droopy eyelids and eye cream for crow’s feet. I used Kinerase in the past but didn't see too much of a difference.

Thank you!
Donna

Hi Donna,

First of all, welcome to the ranks of us Age Warriors ;-)

The product choices and new ingredient releases for skin anti-aging can be overwhelming. An understanding of how the skin ages and what types of ingredients work to support and defend skin against the ravages of time can help.

That’s why I wrote the article Step Up Your Skin Care. Reading it should help you get your bearings and find out what more you could be doing for your skin right now, as well as prepare you for what is yet to come.

You don’t mention which Kinerase products you’ve been using. You may be interested in my reviews of a few of them. Here’s one of Kinerase C8 Peptide Intensive Treatment and another of Kinerase Pro+ Therapy Ultra Rich Night Repair.

You’ll be pleased to note that SNAP-8, the cosmeceutical peptide in Kinerase C8, is especially effective in the forehead and around the eyes. However, if you feel you need something more powerful at this point, I would recommend products which contain other skin remodeling peptides in addition to SNAP-8, such as Peter Thomas Roth UnWrinkle.
