Here’s the review of a terrific new book on anti-aging which I promised yesterday.
Author Barbara Morris, R.Ph., is an 81-year-old pharmacist and expert on unique anti-aging strategies which are very much in line with my own. Her message is for women who want to feel and function as well or better than they do now for another 25 years or more.
She starts her book with this message.
Hi, Girlfriend!
I’m Barbara Morris, your new best friend. Welcome!
Right at the git-go you need to know that this is not another anti-aging book written by someone who has yet to experience “old age.” I am a chronologically old woman (current age 81) who has learned how to stay youthful and live youthfully while my peers chose or allowed themselves to “age gracefully.” If you are in good health, you have the power and ability to do what I have done.
Doncha just love her already?
Barbara believes (as I do) that more than half of the degenerative conditions many consider inevitable as we age are due to lifestyle choices and are avoidable.
If your mother was of a generation programmed to believe that a woman of 50+ needs to slow down and accept the “fact” that she is getting old, you need to break away from that mold.
You can have a healthy and active old age. Let Barbara tell you how.
