Maria Provides the 411 on UNT Juvenage

Dear Jean,

Thank you for your feedback, it has clarified certain issues [regarding UNT Skincare products] to me.

I agree on the absence of the full ingredient list – this is also a disadvantage I noticed, and they could probably work on this to improve their online presence and credibility. One can see the full list of ingredients only upon shipment of the product.

Juvenage contains:Water, Acetyl-Hexapeptide-8, Glycerine, 1,3 -Butylene Glycol, Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Cyclomethocone, Polysorbate 80, Dimethiconol, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Sesame Protein, Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid, Isohexadecane, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Carbomer, Atelocollagen, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Perfume, Prezatide Copper Acetate, Panthenol, Tocopherol, Methylisothiazolinone.

This particular item has quite a long list of ingredients, but generally, UNT products have 8-10 ingredients per product. Also, I noticed that active ingredients come in the beginning of the list, which probably indicates a high concentration.

I would be pleased to learn your opinion about the ingredients I listed above.

Thank you and kind regards,

Maria

============================================

Hi Maria,

Thank you for providing the ingredient list for UNT Juvenage. I see some pluses and minuses.

Pluses:

• High concentration of Acetyl-Hexapeptide-8
• Several skin identical ingredients (Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate) to support the skin’s intercellular matrix
• Silicone-based ingredients for rapid absorption (Cyclomethicone, Dimethiconol) also leave a silky feel and bind water to provide long-lasting moisturization

Minuses:

• Not enough Copper Peptide (Prezatide Copper Acetate) to be effective
• Very light on antioxidants, containing only Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract)

I was disappointed to see the low concentration of Copper Peptide, especially since the company advertises Juvenage as a multi-peptide anti-aging cream.

I’ll get back to you later on some of the other UNT product ingredient lists you sent. I appreciate the effort you went to provide such detailed information.

Regards,
Jean
