While I gave the J du J Body Lotion to my dear sister-in-law, I kept the toner to try myself. I knew it would be a good test because if I like it, it has to be really, really good. I gave up on toners in my thirties because they all seemed drying and didn’t add benefit to my cleansing routine.
Kathy Ireland Essential Toner is alcohol free as are many toners today. What impresses me more in the ingredient list are the multiple moisturizing (Bergamot, Extra Virgin Olive and Evening Primrose Oil) and soothing (Chamomile extract, Allantoin and Aloe Vera Gel) ingredients. What impresses me most about the toner’s performance is what I see on the cleansing pad after I use it.
The Kathy Ireland website says this toner, “cleans and refreshes your skin by removing all remaining traces of dirt, oil and makeup.” I can attest to that. I’ve gone from “no toner for me, thank you very much” to toning both morning and night! I will definitely buy this product for myself when I run out.
I should add that the toner includes Vitamin A and C to provide cell support and antioxidant protection.
