A Skin Rejuvenation Hat – You’ve GOT to be Kidding Me

When I first read this article about photodynamic therapy for skin rejuvenation in the Examiner online, I thought it was a joke.

“A high-tech hat resembling a baseball cap in design, will be equipped with a special colored brim filter … Instead of just shading the face, the hat will have the ability to convert the sun's natural light into the PDT light equivalent.

This ingenious hat invention will be able to filter and use the existing light from the sun, converting it to a beneficial light on the face that will be able to improve the skin's appearance gradually, with similar end-results to the PDT treatments.”

Inveterate fact checker that I am, I went Googling. Well, I’ll be darned – Herrington Catalog is actually already selling the Rejuvenate Sports Hat by SunSoul.

“Rejuvenate Sports Hats selectively amplify healthy yellow rays from the sun, and bathe your skin in natural light energy that smoothes and improves skin tone, reducing wrinkles and skin discoloration due to aging or sun damage.”

Rejuvenate fabrics are dermatologist-tested and recognized, and in fact were developed by Dr. Michael Kreindel — father of cosmetic laser therapy for skin rejuvenation.”

Have any of you bought one? What do you think?

I’m off to Google Dr. Michael Kreindel.
