[Maria’s Request was posted yesterday.]
Hi Maria,
So nice to hear from you again. Thank you so much for the compliments.
I have one to make in return. You clearly DO know a lot about skin care. Your questions usually send me off to research new leading edge ingredients.
I also admire the way you are open to new ideas, yet view the advertising claims with a healthy dose of skepticism.
When brands tout what they DON’T contain as THE main selling point, I usually view it as a marketing ploy. Such ads do consumers a disservice when they play on internet scares and urban myths which have little science behind them.
You can read what I think about the Parabans debate here.
I just bought Hydrolyze for my hubby to try since he has a tendency toward dark under eye circles. So we’ll have to wait for his reactions on that product.
In the meantime, I’ve taken a look at the ingredient lists and ads for all three products about which you inquired and will post them over the next few days.
One more thing: if you decide to try Hydroxatone, please read my warning about Auto Ship Plans. Hydroxatone offers such a program on their website. However their products are now available elsewhere.
Personally, I would only purchase Hydroxatone at a brick and mortar store or from an online store which has a good customer service reputation like Ulta.com or SkinStore.com.
Regards,
Jean
