Review of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup

I absolutely love the new applicator on Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup and how flawlessly it applies the foundation. I’ve never used a makeup that went on this quickly and easily; very little blending required. The finish is instant and silky; no need to wait for it to dry or sink in.

After uncapping the bottle, turn the collar of the Micro-Corrector applicator in the direction of the arrows until you see color appearing on the applicator sponge. The sponge has amazingly soft short bristles to blend the makeup.

A built-in anti-microbial system means you never need to wash the sponge applicator as you would a makeup sponge. In fact, you should only wipe the sponge tip with a dry tissue as needed.

In addition to SPF 18, the formula contains several film forming ingredients that bind water and account for the silky feel (e.g. Cyclopentasiloxane and various Dimethicones), a nice anti-oxidant cocktail including Goji Berry (Lycium Barbarum Fruit Extract), Vitamins C (Ascorbyl Palmitate ) and E (Tocopherol).

Coverage is medium and suitable for all skin types. The stated SPF is 18, so don’t forget to put on a 15 or higher broad spectrum sunscreen first if you will be exposed to the sun for more than a few minutes throughout the day.

I’ll save my Clinique Even Better SPF 15 Makeup for when I need heavier coverage or when I’m in a rush. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Treatment Makeup, at half the price, is my new makeup for everyday use.
