Boutique Skin Care Line to Consider

Serenity[Image Credit: Print Shop Art Gallery]

First of all I would like to say that I really enjoy going through your site. There is a lot of excellent and valuable information provided for the consumer.

May I ask what it takes to have a new product line considered for inclusion?

I have a small skin care line which specifically targets problem skin. The website is emOcean.

I would appreciate your feedback.

Kind regards,
Marion

Hi Marion,

Thank you, Marion. Given that you actually formulate and manufacture skin care products, I especially appreciate your view of the “excellent and valuable” content on Ageless Beauty.

We are always testing and reviewing new products and would be happy to consider taking a closer look at your line.

I have taken a look at your website. Nice name and product statement – emOcean … As a boutique skin care supplier we only bring specially formulated ‘Targeted Skin Care’ into the market; to fill a niche which is not covered by conventional cosmetics.”

You also address many of the issues we Age Warriors have to deal with:

• Maturing Skin Lines and Wrinkles;
• Joint and Muscle Aches;
• Sore and Achy Feet and Legs;
• Problem Skin such as Itchy Skin, Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis.

I like that you don’t strive or claim to be “all-natural” using a ratio of “80 % or higher natural and 20 % or less synthetic ingredients” because some synthetic ingredients are better, purer and more effective. For example, I’m happy to see that some of your anti-aging products contain cosmeceutical peptides like Matrixyl.

One question: Why do the ingredient lists say “Key Ingredients”? Are some ingredients not listed? It is our policy not to review any products without the full ingredient list.

You can read my views on the natural vs. synthetic debate in Are Natural Ingredients Inherently Better?

Regards,
Jean
