Consumer Reports Anti-Wrinkle Face Serum Study - A Big Ho-Hum

Here again is the CR ranking of anti-aging serums – only one of which I would have selected for such a test.

1. DermaSilk 5 Minute Face Lift
2. Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Deep Wrinkle
3. Lancôme Paris High Resolution Collaser 5X Intense Collagen Anti-Wrinkle
4. Vichy Liftactivpro [C+]
5. Perlabella Retinol Face
6. Philosophy Booster Serum
7. Olay Regenerist Advanced Anti-Aging Regenerating, Fragrance-Free
8. Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty
9. Burt’s Bees Naturally Ageless Intensive Repairing

I’ve recommended a few other Neutrogena products, especially those in their Copper Peptide Line, but not their serum.

I highly recommend Lancôme UV Expert 30 broad spectrum sunscreen with Mexoryl and many Lancôme cosmetic products, but no Lancôme serums.

Philosophy Eye Believe Eye Gel is on my Top Ten Affordable Anti-Aging Skin Care Products list, but not the Philosophy serum.

I’ve recommended a long list of Olay anti-aging products, including several serums.

In fact, the CR Olay product choice, Olay Regenerist Serum appears on my Affordable Top Ten Skin Care product list.

I gave a lukewarm review of the Boots #7 line overall.

Perhaps I should offer my anti-aging product selection services to CR for their next test ;-)
