What do you think of the new Victoria McGill eye strips that make eyes look better? Do they work?

=============================================
Hi Ann,
I expect that Victoria McGill Eye Defining Contour Strips would work very much like Ear Lift Tape which has been in my Top Ten Cosmetics list for a while. Both are made of clear surgical tape.
Surgical tape is very thin, barely perceptible and adheres to skin amazingly well. It is quite water resistant.
You can expect learning the proper application technique to take a little practice. If you don’t get a strip on perfectly the first time, you can peel it off and reapply. However, the strip will lose a bit of its adhesive power each time.
If you use the strips every day, you may develop some irritation from the tape. It’s best to take a couple of days off each week to avoid this. At about a dollar a day, you may want to do that anyway.
If you have droopy upper eyelids and don’t want eyelid lift surgery, definitely give these a try.
The videos on the Victoria McGill website are very instructive and convincing. Victoria McGill, the CEO and founder, was a model and professional make-up artist. She credits her mom with inspiring the invention of the Eye Defining Contour Strips.
Her mom noted that a small scab forming on one eyelid contracted the lid making one eye appear years younger than the other. There's no doubt that wide-open eyes without droopy lids appear younger and less tired.
Regards,
Jean
