Jean’s Tips on Use of the Baby Quasar

[Karen’s question appeared in yesterday’s post.]

Injectable Wrinkle Treatments Hi Karen,

I use the Baby Quasar to target problem areas in two ways: I linger a bit on those areas in the first two passes with the wand (orange and red); and I treat only the problem areas in pass 3 ("green" - which is actually infrared and not visible light). I've found this to be especially effective for injured or inflamed skin (bruises or post breakout). It really speeds healing.

As for the chipmunk cheeks ... I have that problem too. I know exactly what you’re describing. That jowly look is caused by loss of volume and out-of-control inflammation (glycation damage). Those lines that drag the sides of your mouth down are from years of frowning and other expressive movements.

Apply serum or cream containing Tetrapeptide-7 before treating with the Baby Quasar. Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 helps control the body’s inflammatory response (as your own hormones did in younger days). The effect is to reverse sagging of skin caused by glycation damage thereby restoring skin elasticity and lifting facial contours.

You’ll find a good concentration of Tetrapeptide-7 in Skin Medica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream or Peter Roth Antiaging Cellular Repair.

Read more about Tetrapeptide-7 here.

We can't stop the hand of time (yet) with at-home and OTC treatments. We can only slow it.

If you don’t get enough improvement of the jowls with this program, the next steps to consider are:

Injectable Wrinkle Treatments; and finally
• Neck or full face lift.

Regards,
Jean
