[This thread on Anti-Aging Skin Care for Eczema Suffers started Monday. Louisa asked for non-reactive products to help thicken her eczematous skin which has been thinned by steroid and UV treatments. Facial creams were covered yesterday.]
You might want to replace your facial exercises with soothing, collagen-stimulating and healing treatments using an LED wand. I personally use (and swear by my) Baby Quasar, but there are other brands that are based on the same NASA research.
If you’re a tea drinker, buy those highest in polyphenols (e.g white, green, black and oolong tea) and drink up to a liter a day. EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) found in these teas prevents collagen breakdown and UV damage.
An interesting Japanese study had 118 subjects drink a liter of oolong tea a day. Almost two-thirds of the participants experienced moderate to marked improvement in their eczema. The improvement persisted at least six months for over half the subjects.
Regards,
Jean
P.S. I must mention that I’m not a doctor and my suggestions should not be viewed as medical advice.

Dear Jean
I am so grateful for your email and the time you have spent on this matter. I think in the end dermatologists dismiss people like me and give up!
Kind regards,
Louisa
