Sally Hansen, long-known for providing affordable nail care products that really work, has another winner: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure.
Sally calls it “All 5 Steps of a Manicure in 1 Bottle”:
• Base Coat,
• Strengthener,
• Growth Treatment,
• Color, and
• Top Coat.
The result is a salon finish in half the time which lasts just as long. Since it requires only two coats of one product, drying time is cut significantly as well. A typical salon manicure includes four coast: base coat, two coats of color and a top coat.
The Good Housekeeping Institute tested this product (reported in the July 2010 issue of Good Housekeeping Magazine) and pretty much validated the product promises.
The leading salon brand lasted an average of 9 days. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure lasted an average of 8. Average time to dry was 29 minutes vs. 24 for Sally Hansen Complete.
I top the color with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat for a drying time of less than 15 minutes.
