[My answer to Natalia, who asked about STOP RF and NūFace Microcurrent Home-Use Anti-Aging Wands, started Saturday.]
As I said earlier, the NūFace technology is totally different from the radio frequency wave technology used by the STOP and POSE Home-Use Anti-Aging Wands.
When I first heard of it, I thought this technology would be similar to the machines which tone muscles by making them contract very rapidly (Electronic Muscle Stimulators or EMS). EMS is used primarily in rehabilitation after stroke, paralysis or severe muscle injury. It passively exercises muscles, maintains muscle mass and speeds the rehabilitation process.
Microcurrent stimulation appears less dramatic on the surface; but what goes on beneath is pretty exciting. In microcurrent therapy, microcurrents (like the NūFace wand utilizes) are calibrated to be similar to the currents that run through your body all the time. You don’t feel them; but they’re good for you.
According to Dr. Peter H. Lathrop, Ph.D, of Bioelectric Medical Solutions, Inc., all functions of the human body are electrochemical. “Minute amounts of electricity are needed by the cells to provide energy to fuel [their] regenerative process.”
Please come back tomorrow to learn more about NūFace Microcurrent Technology .
