Educated Consumer Designs Own Anti-Aging Program: A.M.

[This conversation with Maria started yesterday. As I promised, today we’ll look at Maria’s A.M. Routine for her 30-something combination skin.]

Morning:
1) La Roche-Posay Effaclar K (with glycolic acid helps keep sebum production under control, so the face has a moderately matte state during the day) for the T-zone after cleansing.

Occasionally when I have acne, I use UNT Clearegen AHA/ BHA Serum in the mornings or evenings (once or twice a week).

Ingredients of UNT Clearegen (which is absolutely great for its purpose) are:
Water, Propylene Glycol, Citric Acid, Salicylic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid, Hibiscus, Rosa Canina, Viola, Saccharum, Lemon, Orange, Pyrus Malus, Cammelia, Grapefruit Extracts, Sodium Lactate, Aloe, Butylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Allantoin, Disodium EDTA.

2) Vivite Vibrance Therapy Antioxidant Treatment - Water, Ammonium Glycolate and Glycolic Acid, Glycerin, Sucrose Cocoate, Sorbitan Stearate, Ceresin, Steareth 2, Isohexadecane, Glyceril Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Magnesium Aluminum Stearate, Butylene Glcol, Methyl Dihydroxybenzoate, Licorice Root, Mulberry Root, Japanese Green Tea, Grape Extract, Vitamin E, Bisabolol, Dimethicone, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Urea, Fennel Seed extract, Lycopene, Soy Isoflavones, Squalane, Methylparaben, Disodium EDTA, BHT, Propylparaben, Olive Leaf extract, Allantoin, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Superoxide Dismutase, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.

3) Prototype #37-C 99% Peptide Concentration anti-wrinkle serum - Syn-Coll, Acetyl-Octapeptide-3, Acetyl-Hexapeptyde-8, Pentapepdtide-3, Matrixyl-3000, Eyeseryl, Hyaluronic Acid.

4) Guerlain Orchidee Imperial face and Guerlain Orchidee Imperial eye moisturizer creams (I am using them as I spent a lot of money so might as well finish them although one could expect a better result for the price; the main benefit seems to be the skin tone improvement and light reflection, endless list of ingredients, main is Orchid Root Extract).

After it is finished, I am switching to Revaléskin as the day moisturizer.

5) La Roche-Posay Anthelios with Mexoryl sun protection, which I vary with La Roche Posay Derm AOX SPF 15 with Pycnogenol and Carnosine for anti-glycation, anti-oxidation and brightness.
