LED Treatment Best Practices

I bought a red Marvel Mini in 2006 and never used it. I just took it out of the box and it says you need to put a serum or something on your face while you are using it.

What can I use; or do I need to use anything when I do the 24-minute time?

Hi Kelli,

You don’t need to use any cream or serum with the LED treatment.

However doing so will enhance the benefits.

For one thing, the high intensity LED light drives any topical into the deeper layers of the dermis where it can be most effective. For another thing certain products, used pre-treatment, may prevent the formation of free radicals during treatment.

I’ve always applied StriVectin-HS Deep Wrinkle Serum before my Baby Quasar Treatments.

More recently, I’ve been testing a Green Tea Extract (EGCG) Cream before treatment based on recent research indicating that LED Light Treatments Combined with Green Tea Cream Smooth Facial Wrinkles 10xs Faster .
