Have you gotten on board with theAgeless Beauty Fall Fashion Challenge yet?
I have and I’m having fun with it. I started to put together a styleboard and ended up with a stylebook. When I see a look I like in a catalog, magazine, on a friend or on TV which is age appropriate and will flatter my figure, I add it to my stylebook.
Clip out what photos you can. Print them out from Internet sites. I’ve even resorted to sketching a few. My drawings aren’t great but they’re good enough to give me a general idea.
The trick to making your styleboard or stylebook work for you is to put together whole outfits including shoes, purses and accessories. I’ve found a lot of items in my closet which can be easily updated.
Many pages can include options for going more casual or dressier. I’ve taken lots of notes to jog my memory when I go to put on a particular outfit.
If you need help in determining what styles will flatter your figure, treat yourself to a copy of Makeover Guy Christopher Hopkins’ book, Staging Your Comeback: A Complete Beauty Revival for Women Over 45.
It’s entertaining, enjoyable and right on target for us Ageless Beauties. It has become my style bible.
