How can I repair the skin on my decollete? I am 52. The skin on my decollete has deep wrinkle lines on it, broken blood vessels, and lots of wrinkles when I cross my arms. It looks terrible if I were to wear a low top. Any advice?

Hi Kathi,
Have you consulted a dermatologist? You may be able to jump-start some improvement with a peel or series of laser treatments.
I’ve written a complete article on protecting and supporting the delicate skin of the Neck and Décolleté. This article can guide you through the other steps you can take to undo some of the damage time has wrought.
Number 1 is always sun protection. Eighty to 90% of skin “aging” is really caused by sun damage; not by the number of birthdays we’ve had. Be sure to apply a high SPF broad spectrum sun protection product every day – whether you expect the décolleté to be exposed to the sun or not.
Damaging UV rays penetrate glass and many fabrics. Consider where the smoothest, youngest looking skin on your body is. How many layers of clothing are covering that area right now. Unless you’re reading this wearing your birthday suit, you probably have at least two layers to occlude UV rays.
Finally, a home use LED treatment wand designed to reverse the signs of aging on the face (wrinkles, age spots, thinning skin and loss of volume) will have the same benefits for the neck and décolleté.
I swear by my Baby Quasar, but there are other good brands. You'll find more info on Home Use Phototherapy Products here, especially in the "You might enjoy:" section at the bottom.
Regards,
Jean
