Review of Olay Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream with SPF 25

There are so many great anti-aging products in the Olay Regenerist line that it’s difficult to decide which ones to use. After I read that Woman’s Day Beauty Editor Melissa Matthews had named Olay Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream with SPF 25 as one of her 7 must haves, I thought I should give it a try.

In addition to having a fairly high SPF and broad spectrum sun protection, Olay Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream with SPF 25 has other anti-aging powerhouses like:

• Cell communicating ingredients – Niacinamide and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4;
• Skin identical ingredients to support the intercellular matrix – Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol;
• An impressive list of antioxidants - Carnosine, Tocopheryl Acetate, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Allantoin

I found the consistency a bit heavy and occlusive. It’s too thick, in fact, to wear uder make-up. So on no make-up days (if you have any of those anymore ;-) this is an excellent anti-aging daytime cream/lotion.

To wear under makeup, I much prefer Olay Regenerist UV Defense Lotion with 50 SPF. It has the same cell communicating ingredients and most of the same antioxidants along with a wonderfully silky and light consistency.
