Dear Jean,
It is great hearing from you and thank you for your detailed email and useful advice.
To address your questions/comments one by one …
1) I do have combination skin which tends to lean towards oily after some laser treatments called here "laser genesis" (similar to CoolTouch Laser described on your website). It actually makes my pores so small in the first days after treatment that sebum cannot find the way to get out and I have to exfoliate more to get rid of small whiteheads.
I also try not to overdo with Retinol, keeping an eye on any potential negative developments. Thank you for your advice though. I will pay even more attention to it.
2) Great advice with regard to the sunscreen. I did not know this detail about the order of application depending on the active ingredient [chemical sunscreens before other creams, etc.; physical sunscreens last]. Highly appreciated.
3) I saw and read your very useful reviews of RéVive, Hydrolyze, Osmotics Blue Copper and UNT, of course [which Maria had requested herself in an earlier e-mail].
I actually studied your website quite thoroughly. I started using RéVive based on reviews I saw on your website and Amazon, combined with the positive impression I read from the book written by RéVive founder Gregory Brown, About Face : A Plastic Surgeon's 4-Step Nonsurgical Program for Younger, Beautiful Skin. The book is highly recommended. It is not just about RéVive.
Thanks again for your detailed email to me and very useful advice. It is always a pleasure to hear from you.
Best regards,
Maria
