We’re luxuriating on a Caribbean cruise this week. It may be difficult for me to stay in touch with my readers, but I’ll do my best. Internet service on board is cost prohibitive (40 cents a minute!!!).
I write what I can offline while we’re at sea. Then when we dock, we rush off the ship – laptops in tow – and seek out the nearest wi-fi shack. Tip: following crew members with laptops is a good way to find the best internet cafĂ© or hot spot for free wireless.
I’m trying to relax and not stress over it. I’m also trying to follow much of the advice I give to all of you. Easier said than done, right?
Here I have free time and easy access to some wonderful fitness facilities; but I look out over the undulating waves and I’m lulled into a dreamlike lethargic state. Hmmm …
I’m catching up on my fashion and fun magazines and have started Vince Flynn’s latest thriller, American Assassin, dedicated “To the victims of the Pam Am Lockerbie terrorist attack and their families”. Very compelling.
Much of my work for Ageless Beauty is research, so it’s not like I don’t get to read much. It’s that I don’t often read for sheer pleasure except on vacation. What a nice way to relax and recharge my batteries.Tomorrow … My Spa Splurge at Sea. Please come back.
