this is what i call a real find for teacup tuesday. only .69 cents each piece at the neighborhood goodwill store. they had the whole set with tea plates but i just bought one cup and saucer. can you believe, under a $1.50. although made in china (what isn't these days) it is signed in gold by a designer that i can't really make out. it has the most beautiful flowers in the happy colors i cherish so much. so there, my humble little teacup.
i photographed it against my latest art technique discovery which is a transfer of a vintage paper image onto fabric by using gesso and letting it dry overnight and then peeling the background paper. if you would like instructions, i would be happy to explain it to you. still sewing bundles and crocheting since my fingers can never be still
and the person i'd most like to have tea with today, another blogger of an amazing talent who lives in cornwall, england carolyn saxby. be sure to visit her blog, i guarantee you are in for a treat.
