Review of Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum

I love Allure Best of Beauty Award winning Olay Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum. In fact it’s in my Top Ten List of Affordable Skin Anti-Aging Products.

So, of course, I wondered how Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum could be even better.

First of all, it has a different texture – a bit thicker and creamier. There’s no wait for the serum to be absorbed. You can put foundation on immediately after. Also, the reflective mineral pigments give the skin an instant glow. If your skin tone is even enough, you could even go bare-faced with Olay’s Micro-Sculpting Serum.

As for ingredients, the Micro-Sculpting Serum has additional cell communicating ingredients to tell the skin how to behave in a younger fashion: Niacinamide (4th of 30), Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 (9th), and Carnosine (13th).

The Daily Regenerating Serum has both Niacinamide and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 (the former INCI name for Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, a.k.a. Matrixyl, a collagen stimulating peptide), but in lower concentrations (5th and 11th of 26).

There are a few other important differences in Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum:
