More months ago than I care to admit, I received a generous assortment of samples from Emocean Skin Care. There were full size tubes of Body Luscious Firming Body Cream, Cloud Dancer Foot Cream and sample tubes of Body Flex, Eye Essentials Firming Eye Cream, Peacemaker After Sun Soother and Turnaround Revitalising Moisturizer.
As a boutique skin care supplier, emocean strives to fill niches it feels are not well served in the market. So the product line at present may appear a bit odd – a little bit of this and that. What ties them all together is a desire to combine the best of old medicinal and herbal traditions with the best of the new in skin care from the lab. Emocean strives for a product composition that is about 80% natural and 20% synthetic.
The website says, "Our products contain natural botanical extracts, essential oils and fermentation filtrates. We therefore recommend to anyone with sensitive skin to first test the creams on a small patch of skin for any potential allergic reaction."
That’s very good advice if you desire more “natural” skin products. Many botanicals are known skin irritants. Plus it is difficult to achieve product purity and consistency when dealing with natural ingredients.
Please come back tomorrow for more on the Emocean Products We Tested.
