Selecting Skin Products to Prevent and Correct for Acne-Prone Skin

[Saja’s request appeared yesterday. She wanted to know which of the anti-aging products in her list would be suitable for her young combination skin.]

Perricone MDFace Creams (continued from yesterday):

Philosophy Hope in a Jar

Philosophy the Miracle Worker – contains a non-paraben preservative which is not recommended for leave-on use.

Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Serum

Ole Henriksen Truth Revealed Cream & Serum – If you’re looking for a more natural option, Ole Henricksen products contain no parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, petrochemicals, phthalates, genetically-modified organisms or triclosan; but misses out on some very safe and effective anti-aging ingredients.

Perricone MD Cold Plasma Face – Read my Cold Plasma review here.

Eye Creams:

Philosophy Eye Believe is on my Top Ten Skin Anti-Aging Product List

Philosophy Eye Hope – If you have dark eye circles, this is an excellent option.

Bliss Youth as We Know it for Eyes – Read my review of the face cream here.

Perricone MD Cold Plasma Eyes – Read about Cold Plasma here.

Lifecell – Read what little information I have on
LifeCell.

Korres Evening Primrose Eye Lotion – Another “natural” option – curiously with the same list of what it doesn’t contain as OleHenricksen products. Hmmm … who copied whom? Contains various oils and several known skin irritants. Don’t rely on the very low SPF of 6.
