Hi. Thank you for all the excellent information on your site.
I am interested in the ongoing dialogue about GHK-Cu. I could not find any information (anywhere) about the actual concentration of GHK-Cu or Prezatide copper acetate in formulas that really work. I saw somewhere (a post by Loren Pickart) a figure of 2%.
That seems awfully high as compared to the concentration of other peptides like Matrixyl or Argireline.
Any information would be very helpful.
Thank you,
Willy
=============================================
Hi Willy,
Thank you. I’m glad you’re finding Ageless Beauty to be helpful.
Actually 2% is not a high percent for peptide concentration in topical products. Have you read my article about the Effective Concentration Range for Matrixyl?
Research into GHK-Cu or Prezatide Copper Peptide is ongoing. There are promising studies about Copper Peptide’s ability to:
• Restore human fibroblasts after radiation treatment;
• Regenerate damaged nerves;
• Revive the growth potential of aged epidermal skin cells; and
• Reverse the expression of genes responsible for metastasizing cancer.
Given all that, it’s not surprising that GHK-Cu has been successfully incorporated into many topical anti-aging and hair loss treatment products.
Please come back tomorrow for the conclusion.
