If you missed My Sisley Makeover Story, click on the link to catch up.Interestingly, the Phyto Teint Éclat oil-free foundation, which I never thought would be suitable for my dry skin, is one of the few Sisley products I liked. The coverage and ease of application are better than average but nowhere near as good as my favorite Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15, which is $24.50 an ounce compared to $115 an ounce of Phyto Teint Éclat.
I can’t comment much on the Sisley Phyto-Mascara (except to say that the price of $70 is exorbitant) because the one I bought was totally dried out (as were all the others the store had in stock). I guess the tubes had been in inventory for a long time. It must be a difficult product to move off the shelves.
The Phyto Khol Eyeliners are very nice. They’re extremely soft for easy application on delicate skin. They can be smudged but they set in a few minutes giving you options for various looks. Again, the price is sky high for what you get – over $50 a piece.
The brow pencil with spoolie brush on the other end is quite ordinary except for the price - $50.
Come back tomorrow for my Comments on Sisley Skin Care products.
