The Goblin Costume!

I finally found out what the scary brown but friendly little monster was! Apparently Caden wanted to be a Goblin for Halloween!

Here are some of the Goblin inspiration pictures we found on-line:

Here is the Goblin costume sketch I came up with that met with Mr. C’s enthusiastic approval:

And here is Caden doing a test run in the Goblin costume that I just spent 6 very long days sewing; 2 yards of faux suede, ½ yard of faux fur, ½ yard of pleather, devil ears, jute, skull beads, 400 yards of thread and over 200 bronze beads later, I came up with this scary brown but friendly little monster:

Okay, so it’s not PERFECT, but in my defense, I might add that this was all hand sewn (I don’t own a sewing machine)! Good thing Halloween happens only once a year! For those of you wanting a closer look at the Goblin costume design, I do plan to take better photos when Caden is in make-up tomorrow! I’ll be torturing you with those soon.
By the way, if anyone’s interested, here’s a link to Caden’s Ghost costume from last Halloween.

So now that the costume sewing is finally over, I’m off to prepare my medallion display for Saturday’s Christmas Bazaar (at the Plainfield Town Hall Saturday November 1st, 9 AM – 3 PM). I’m really looking forward to a fun filled day! Hope to see you there!

In the meantime I just discovered that my beautiful and multi talented friend Cyndi is doing yet another one of her free Exalted Beauty Medallion giveaways
over at Jewelry and Beading! All you have to do is leave a comment for your chance to win a FREE Exalted Beauty Medallion! Stop by TODAY because the winner will be picked tomorrow! Good luck!

Have a Happy Halloween!
