Carrot Facial Mask

There are thousands of skin care and beauty products that women can use to make their skin beautiful and young. One of the most common ways to restore the beauty of the skin is by using facial masks. Facial masks are not only quite cheap. They are also easy to prepare, as you can prepare them from daily household products.

One can make facial masks from coffee, bananas and carrots. In this article I would like to focus on carrot facial masks. Those masks are excellent for oily skin and they are great when it comes to preventing wrinkles. Carrots protect the skin from free radicals and they also promote the regeneration of healthy skin. Therefore, if you want to have youthful and glowing skin, you should learn how to prepare and apply carrot facial mask.

How to Make Carrot Facial Mask

You should start with peeling the carrots and steaming them till they are soft. Once the carrots are soft mash them to make paste. Now, add 1 tablespoon of natural honey- it is a natural remedy for lots of kinds of ailments and also helps reduce inflammations, swellings and eliminates germs. Next, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil which helps cleanse and nourish the skin, leaving it glowing and supple.

If your skin is very oily you can also add a few drops of lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural astringent and helps clean greasy skin. The amount of lemon juice you should add depends on the skin type you have. For dry skin, add just 8 to 10 drops, but if your skin is quite oily, add 1 tablespoon.

The last step is to add mineral water to the mask to make a smooth paste. You need to do it carefully as you do not want your mask to become runny.

You should now wash your face and neck with warm water and pat dry. Apply the mask to your neck and face and let it set for about 15 minutes. After that, rinse your face and neck with warm water and pat dry again.
