How To Reduce Wrinkles

One of the major problems of the signs of aging is wrinkles. If you want to reduce wrinkles, there are simple ways that you can follow. Surgery is not always the solution to minimizing wrinkles. Following a simple skin regimen on a daily basis might just do the trick.

Here are some practical tips that you can use everyday:

Avoid direct sunlight
Exposure to the sun is one of the major causes of wrinkles. Avoid being exposed directly to the sunlight. If you do certain activities under the sun, it is important that you wear sunscreen regularly. Not only would this help you reduce wrinkles, it can also prevent skin cancer.

Moisturize your skin
Aside from using sunscreen, it is also important that you use moisturizers on your facial area. This would help you achieve a fuller and smoother skin. Moisturizes also have anti-aging properties that help you reduce wrinkles. A moist skin can appear supple and can minimize wrinkles, facial lines and creases or at least make them less noticeable

Avoid pollution and smoking
A lot of research confirms that cigarette smoking and pollution can cause the skin to age and product wrinkles. You can prevent wrinkles by quitting your smoking habit. Studies show that a person who is not smoking is less prone to wrinkles.

Get a good sleep
Resting and sleeping can do wonders for your skin. When your body doesn’t have enough rest, you would produce high amounts of cortisol. This is the hormone that breaks the skin cells. With enough rest, you would have a skin that is more elastic and is less likely to have wrinkles.

Avoid squinting
Squinting can actually cause wrinkle formation. You squint when there’s too much sunlight. You squint when you have reading problems. If this is the case, you can use sunglasses or reading glasses so you can avoid squinting. Squinting actually overworks your facial muscles that may form a groove in your skin that can lead to wrinkles.

Change your sleeping position
It is recommended that you sleep on your back to reduce wrinkles. Some sleeping positions can actually lead to wrinkles or sleep lines. When you sleep in your sides, you can notice some lines on your chin or cheeks once you’re up. When you sleep with your face down, you would notice a furrowed brow can appear.
