Sand Dunes

These are the Sand Dunes of Hampton Beach:









There is something magical and peaceful about these ecologically fragile creations. I love their funky mountainous shapes and the sea grass that grows in what would appear to be an impossible environment. These particular dunes were the nesting grounds for some endangered Piping Plovers.
