Hunting Fox

Here is one of the fox kits we rescued a few years back, alive and well, and making us very happy by hunting our prolific meadow vole population:



Right after I took this photo the fox pounced on his prey and shook it gleefully, like a puppy with a chew toy. As much as I appreciate what he’s doing, I was a bit surprised by the joy in which he partook in his afternoon snack.
