Fashion Ahoy!

As promised I'm going to show you some pictures of my visit to "Fashion Ahoy" in Rotterdam.
As you can hear in the part "Ahoy', it's an exhibit about maritime fashion.
I did love this exhibit and I was really sad there was no book to accompany it. Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did!! For those who want to visit it, you can still see it in "Het Maritiem Museum" in Rotterdam until March 13th. It's a must-visit!!!

How it was presented in the museum.

The Galliano for Dior opening dress. What a starter!

Yves Saint Laurent dress.

Chanel dress.

Jean Paul Gaultier evening gown.

Who would have though of Donald Duck as an icon of maritime fashion?

Sonia Rykiel for H&M.

Wonderful Chanel!

Jean Paul Gaultier dress.

Karl Lagerfeld got his inspiration for this outfit in a picture where Coco Chanel wore something alike.

An exhibit about maritime fashion without Chanel? No way! I adored these shoes!

Jean Paul Gaultier. My first thought when I saw it, was "I have seen this one before. When I was back at home I checked it, and I did already see it at "Ultramegalore" in Hasselt, since it was worn on the catwalk by Belgian supermodel Hannelore Knuts.

An amzazing vintage Lanvin gown. I really wanted to have it! So gorgeous!

Sonia Rykiel, off course!

Some amazing shark shoes by Jean-Charles De Castelbajac.

Jean Paul Gaultier's pirate girls

Viviene Westwood's pirate girl
