Christmas Chaos!

Christmas Chaos returns, the annual squeeze it all into a mad screaming rush is currently in progress. I was working on the David’s House project and totally lost track of time. I had hoped to complete the piece early but regrettably I was unable to continue if I wanted to have any kind of Christmas for Caden. So far it feels a lot like a replay of last year. I thought we were going to be on the ball this year, we even went to Noda’s early (in the midst of a winter rain storm) to get the tree. But in the blink of an eye, it was suddenly Sunday, December 19th. Almost too late to do much of anything! We did manage to get the tree decorated and Caden has been working diligently on gifts for his Grandparents but unfortunately it has been a struggle because he’s been feeling under the weather the past few days and finally woke up with a full fledged cold this morning.

What a trooper! Meanwhile, I’m not feeling nearly as motivated, I think I’m coming down with whatever Caden has and I haven’t even begun to put a dent in my Christmas to-do list! As you can see from the previous posts, I did dig up the School Photo and the Hockey Picture, so at least I have a start to one of the annual grandparent gifts. Hopefully, with any luck, the Elf and I will have some Crafty Christmas goodness to share soon. :)
