Here is the first look at my submission to the “Feed The Birds For David” project (a fundraiser organized by Eastman Recreation for David’s House):
“The Exalted Bird Bistro”

25 artists were given a rough sawn pine bird feeder built by Ken Hamel to interpret however they were inspired. Below is an example of the original bird feeder design:
For the creation of “The Exalted Bird Bistro” I removed some of the original parts and then added a variety of wooden craft pieces, such as pre-cut circles, knobs, dowels, molding trim, and beads. The finish is acrylic paint and industrial strength varnish. “The Exalted Bird Bistro” is approximately 19” long x 13.5” wide x 15” tall.
